Two Day Workshop on Women Entrepreneurial Skill Development
PG & Research Department of Economics organized a Two day workshop on Women Entrepreneurial Skill Development, to develop the entrepreneurial skill among the girl students. In the workshop training was given in various skills like making Artificial jewellery, Paper quelling, Fast food, Bakery, Herbal napkin, ThirunelveliHalwa etc.,Mrs.VidhyaSankariM.Sc., (MSME) Women Entrepreneur Trainer, Amirtha Entrepreneurship Training Institute, Kumarachi, Cuddalore was the trainer of this programme.
Dr.R. Somasundaram M.D., President & Secretary of KandaswamiKandar’s Educational Trust, felicitated the programme. Dr.N.Thangaraj Principal,KandaswamiKandar’sCollege,presided over the function. Dr.P.Loganathan, Associate Professor & Head Department of Economics, welcomed the august gathering. Dr.K.Saravanan, Associate Professor, Department of Economics, proposed the Vote of thanks. Dr.S.Parvathi, Assistant Professor, Department of Economics, was the Co-Ordinator of the programme. More than 150 girl students participated and benefitted by the programme. They gained knowledge of various entrepreneurial skills to start their own enterprise in their nearing future.
