Women Development Cell - International Women’s Day
Women Development Cell of Kandaswami Kandar’s College Celebrated the International Women’s Day on 10th March 2018 in the College auditorium.
Dr.P.Santhi, Department of English, Convener of the Women Development Cell welcomed the gathering.
Principal, K.K.C, Dr. N.Thangaraj presided over the function and gave the presidential address. He spoke at length on the importance of women’s education and the need for the development of women.
President and Secretary of Kandaswami Kandar’s Educational Trust Dr.R.Somasundaram gave his felicitations on the occasion. In his address he stressed on the need for the development of women through education.
Dr. S.Parvathi, Department of Economics introduced the Chief Guest.
The Chief Guest Dr.A.Arulmozhi, M.V.Sc., Ph.D, veterinary College and Research Institute, Namakkkal, delivered the special address. In her address she highlighted the glory of women and the important roles they play in the society. Her address was very informative and encouraging to the students.
Dr. B. Kavitha, Department of Commerce compeered the function in a lively manner.
